DHUFISH CENTRAL

 

G'day all, 

               Welcome 2 my life as it standz at the moment. Itz all about life balance. Work versus play!

Even if this means waking up at 4 am and heading out for a fish.

 In this instance it meant leaving Ocean Reef boat harbour at 5 am looking 4 quality fish then thatz what it takes.

As I said itz all about life balance, while there iz lotz wrong with my life I need to learn 2 appreciate what I've got, the biggest of these iz to getting back in  touch with my son Cameron

In this instance we had 6 dhufish onboard B4 7am. WA being the "nanny" state with rulez and reg's meaning we are only allowed to keep 2 of these quality fish, luckily we had a release weight onboard so we sent 4 of these monsters back 2 where they came from. I personally believe none of these released fish will survive the ordeal but thatz the rules and they must be obeyed.

2 dayz later same result, A 4.30 start had us back at the boat ramp by noon with 2 more quality Dhufish, I know what I'm having for dinner.

With so much fish fillets it waz thyme to call a few mates and Mum and Dad with everyone receiving a slab of Dhuie many smiles and thanks flowed my way. Life Balance!

With the weather turning foul 4 the next few dayz itz thyme 2 stop the "play" and get back into work mode.

All diesel motors will get a full service B4 the yot goes back in2 the water, hopefully this meanz the troublesum generator will be working again.

The painting of the yot iz all but finished with just the antifouling to be done just B4 the boat goes back into the water.

Itz  now thyme 2 start phase 2 of the upgrades luckily Dad haz come to the party with a brand new MIG welder to turn a couple of thousand dollars worth of aluminium in2 a new party deck on the roof area of the cabin.

This will double the useable deck space when guest come to play. With the aluminium frame and changes weighing in at 120 kg it'll change the yot and make entertaining so much better.
