30 Second challenge!

 

G'day All, Itz my birthday and itz thyme to take the challenge, bait a hook and catch lunch in 30 seconds or less. No problem!

 This 3 kg Emporer  took off with the bait, soon 2B followed by this slatey bream (no good 4 eating) so he waz released. But 2 fish in less than 30 seconds Lifes Tuff!

The aquatic life here haz 2B scene 2B believed. Last night I nearly caught a squid (not earth shattering) but this squid while still attached to the jig waz eaten by a 15 - 20 kg cod right on the surface in 3.5 m of water. Holy crap!

With 10lb line it was the shortest struggle in history.

Itz a busy thyme with Hanni and the boys due on Wednesday for a 1 week trip to the Islandz. 3 weex later Big Ash arrives for a 10  day trip then a two week gap and Brothers  Mark, Andrew and Dad arrive to jump on a charter boat heading to the famous Montebello Islands.

Lotz of stuff arriving from Perth with the biggest being the rebuilt Anchor winch (thanx Aaron) plus the refurbished Powerdive unit. Thyme to get back to the basics with Galleycat being a genuine fishing destination (wkoa)

It seemz my demon haz returned with thortz of giving up this lifestyle for a more traditional life on land. I can only hope that more rational and practikal thinking returnz.
