THYME 4 MUCH PROGRESS!!

G'dai All,
As the title suggests itz bean week of much forwardness!
Last week I tried a few B4 and after shotz 2 demonstr8 just sum of the changez going on aboard.
During this week I had "this" screen saver come up, on the puta, this made me realize just how much has been achieved in these past few months.
At thymes I become very frustrated with myself! 4 not achieving enuf each day! Itz not until I see these images that I realize just how much the Yot is changing at the moment. New found appreciation (wkoa)!
This week has been very much progress related, with completed jobs in several different area's of the Yot. I've been replacing windows, fitting benchtopz, replacing bilge pumps, wiring lights and switches and of course Painting! Plus I've managed a few hours of yardwork.
The painting thankfully is 97% completed. Just touch upz now !
This week I'm continuing with the B4 and after theme for the Foto'z.
The phone's been running hot this week with news from the West. After the Rockingham and Dianella devastation(wkoa),the Once in a 100 year stormz (that we had last year! as well!), plus big news from Kyron, Mum, Brother Andrew, Big Ash, Dad and Miss Dee.  It was truly a busy period, Also Manda Mermaid has been in touch via email. With more good news. So it seems 2 have bean a positive week all round.
In short Amanda is recovering and looking 4ward to visiting Australia, Andrew visited and loved Groote Island (his new home-base), Dad's in Darwin, Big Ash quit his job and found a new house design, Kyron's gettin Married, Miss Dee has averted a family crisis and Mum took a tumble over a kiddy/ puppy gate. (same thing)
If I gave you all the story's what would be the point of "facebook".
Friday's lunch was a mixed platter of 7 different types of gourmet sandwiches. "Which went down really well in the yard."Despite my scepticism (big word) I've also made a brilliant beef and ginger stir fry, herb crusted lamb, bean salad, chicken soup,  savoury mince (hardware style) and some gr8 apple pancakes with a honey and ginger cream.Yummo! And Big Ash made a seafood chowder!
All this has been going on while the work on-board continues.
With the completion of the dreaded 'painting" came a night of  unexpected "HELL" instead of joyous rapture. I spent a nite of agony as my body basically shut down and rejected itself (again) "this happens infrequently", with Tuesday's  dose not very pleasant  at all! In fact given a choice I would gladly of chosen a "coma" or worse. With fever, vomiting, migraine and blackouts being the major symptoms. "Fingers crossed it never happen while I'm at sea"
I did survive the nite! "just", and rested the next day with the help of "lots" of Tablets (thanx Kenny and noah).
This bout of illness only strengthened my resolve to get the work completed. So after losing a day or too,  as usual, I over compensated by doubling my effortz and have now completed 4 more jobs off the "return to sea list". The renovation (wkoa) work inside has moved into full swing with production of the new splashbacks and benchtops, a new wine rack, lighting in the forward cabin and switch gear fitted to the kitchen lighting, plus a new bilge pump in the rear pontoon as well.
Thankfully itz a V8 weekend so I've got a valid reason to slow down and spend some quality downtime in front of the TV. Doesn't mean I'll be doing nuthin!, just slowing the progress rate down a touch. I'll also be putting another batch of "Fellixer" through the still.
The V8's are in Darwin this weekend, along with Dad (could Dad B a closet racing fan?) we'll have to wait till the next round to find out! Go the Ford teams! or perhaps if Holden have to win then Jamie or Craig should handle the trophy. Itz also a big weekend in Nascar land with Marcos Ambrose set to do battle with Kyle bush again. After a gr8 result at Pocono he'll be looking for something better this week.
The improvement in weather here has given the gardens a major boost with the silverbeet, tomatoes, cucumbers and parsley all reaching growth levels unseen B4.I've just about recovered the garden to a level they were B4 my trip 2 Hinchenbrook. The system works as far as the plants go, but I wasn't expecting the cloud cover  everyday. This coupled with the plantz being inside took a heavy toll on my vitamin supply source!
So I've now fitted some new shelving to the grow-room that will allow the "sunlight hungry" plants to be placed directly under the skylight. This should solve the problem (only thyme will tell)(actually the thyme plant doesn't seem to B affected).
Amanda mentioned in her email "you tube" vid's of Australia!
This made me think just how lucky we R 2 live here! This is a truly amazing place! that renews itz feature's and impressiveness on an almost daily basis, you just have 2 learn to appreci8 it.
And the video is right " it's bloody terrible here" because if we tell everyone the truth, they'll all be here.
Australia is a terrible place to visit! But fantastic place to live.

The interior fittout haz now reached the alf way point with some indecision as to which job should be the next onto the priority list. I could paint the new bar area ( but as previously mentioned "I FFFF'N HATE PAINTING"!), or I could remove the dividing wall between the kitchen and console area. But 4 now I'm content to simply relax, enjoy my Friday nite and prepare for a gr8 weekend of V8 racing.
The work of the last 3 weeks has just left the slipway "Adrenaline" has taken 3 weeks of hard graft to turn a tired old charter boat into a stunning new looking vessel. The unique feature of this boat has 2B a pure silicone coating to the entire underwater hull area. Some $8000 worth of super antifoul. It'll B interesting 2C how it workz.
Thatz about it 4 this week, so for now itz bye bye from FNQ and the land of the Galleycat.
Go "FPR" and remba Life is 4 living!
