"CONSOLIDATION" (wkoa)

G'day All, This week's bean all about consolidation!
Slowing down my life and remembering 2 simply enjoy my existence!
The work "of course" hasn't stopped. In -fact just the opposite, the difference is simply my attitude. Instead of looking at each task as a job that must be done, I now approach the task at hand as a "privilege".
I've spent the week addressing lotz of the smaller tasks that had not bean completed in my "UNJUSTIFIED" rush to get everything done! I've fixed all sortz of small issue's that crept up during our trip to Hinchinbrook. Fuel systems, outboards, lighting, woodwork, wiring and general organisation have all been addressed. At the same time I've spent several dayz sanding a big charter boat on the main slip.
My focus has now turned to the arrival of Brother Mark in just 4 weeks thyme. The plan is to have the YOT ready to "comfortably" live aboard for a week at "The Reef",while Mark will be here longer than a week we have a date with the V8's. This will be my 1st visit to an actual V8 race rather than enjoying the racing on Tv. It should be a totally different experience and a precursor to BATHURST !
With the "slow down" also came the return of some really Gr8 food. Several time hungry dishes have made their way from kitchen to plate. Fridays' lunch of Asian long soup being a real stand out! I've also made a Baked banana cake, eggs benedict, roasted pineapple with butterscotch creme', herb crusted lamb cutlets, and some truly amazing salted pork ribs. A sharp down-turn in the weather lending itself to more hearty slow cooked type of food. This is a style of cooking I really enjoy, there's nothing quite like returning to the Yot and being greeted by the smells of slow roasting food or sweet baking cakes!
Itz also bean a big week in the contacts department with lotz of calls and emails arriving. The most significant of these being - better news from Miss Mermaid in Ireland with some positive results and a more rosy outlook for her. This was Gr8 to hear, after a few weeks of uncertainty. It was also really good 2 hear from Little Ash and Jayde and Brad and Miss Dee as well.
Itz a big weekend of Motor racing with the Monaco Grand prix, Indy 500 and Nascar Coke 600 all making for a busy weekend for the Tv.  Go Mark Webber,Daniel Ricardo,Ryan Briscoe and of course Marcos Ambrose!
Here's a few foto's not Yot related for you to enjoy!

"PARADISE FOUND"
That's all 4 this weeks update!
Enjoy and remember "LIFE IS FOR LIVING" not just planning and working.
