WHAT A WEEK .....

MORNING PECK!  ITZ BREAKFAST THYME!
 G'day All,
                WOW WHAT A WEEK!
Thatz a lot of "W's"
The yard haz gone into overload with two yachts in for complete re-spray's.
1 54ft monster plus a 30 ft rebuild. Which means very little me thyme!
but I am managing to get lots of tasks ticked off the list while still keeping the yard happy.Mainly the BIG jobz are being started, plus a simple one -or two each day!
Friday Nite I hit the sack at 7 pm so that'll put things into perspective 4 those that know me!
My main yot focus has been the fishing bench with weigh too many upgrades to list.
Still a few to go with better lighting and plumbing upgrades still planned. Maybe a live tank as I can't seem to keep a dinghy version active!
More tackle storage has been a must, with capacity for up to six more tray's and a simplifying of the basic toolz.
A raise in the height of the cutting deck was mandatory as the fishing platform height increase had made the chopping boards weigh too low 2B comfortable.
Specially when there's lotz of filleting 2B done!

The Traveller problem has sort of solved itself with a simple realignment of the track, making most of the problemz vanish!
It's amazing just how many Major issue's become minor when you concentrate on sumthin else! (sorry Mum}
I've kept the Skyelites despite them proving 2b problematic last year and several notes to myself saying they must go!
I'm also seriously revisiting the idea of a new dog, with the current breed's being beagle or Aussie silky terrier.
Both hold a special place in my memory! and both would be suitable YotDogz!
So basically itz a period of change aboard the Cat, while at the same thyme I'm  getting itchy feet with a desire to head away from shore again driving my current push.
After spraying both boats 2day we finished around 2 so I set about tearing the Yot to pieces in an effort to move the anchor washdown hose inboard!
U have no idea! Every cupboard and floor panel was removed and every power tool put to use!
Big Ash has been in contact with work levels on the other side of the island equal to this side. He's been busy building walls and tearing down fences while Perth put on itz usual winter thyme storms to keep him comfortable!
Mum and Dad's house finally has concrete in the Alfresco area and garage. So it wont be long B4 the alfresco needz tiling!
The Computer issues of the last few weex have finally been resolved with a tech doing a complete system wipe and reboot, "thank the lord for back-ups"! With the computer system back on-line I've managed to find the last of the new sails on Gumtree so within a few weex Galleycat will have a complete set again. I've even dragged the spinnaker out of itz hidey hole in preparation for itz first flight.
Itz very colourful!
I'm still having temperature based issues with
re-acclimatising taking longer than I would of thort!
Still with nite thyme temps around 12-14 degree's one cannot grizzle. Even the locals have reverted to fire as a source of heat, with the inside drum of this washing machine making the perfect fire pit.
The weather loox like itz on the up with the temps set to rise B4 the weekend so with fingers crossed it'll be a quick trip out to Salamander and a few Reddies in the icebox!
The dog issue seemz to of solved itself with a new yard dog arriving yesterday. She's going to be huge just looking at the size of the clodhoppers on it!
I'm pushing for Clydesdale as a name but itz not really in the race.
A quick hello to Kathy and hopefully you'll get a fish in this weekend! Too.
Thy dog be named: BOWEN.
Apparently she'll be 20-30 kg in 3 months thyme.
But currently she's not much of a guard dog! The only thing anyone will steal would be the dog.
A huge G'day to Dan back in England, Kelli and Paul.
Paul will be arriving today for a short stay and a quick fishing trip or three.
We managed a Gr8 day out on Saturday complete with regulation (wkoa) PICINIC BASKET!
Heaps of "Slap Ya Mama" Chilli chicken wings. Chicken and salad buffet style rolls served on the water near Cape Clevland.
Not Enuf wind for sailing so the motor was kept running all day.
