HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM!!! / GOOD FRIDAY!

 "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM!"
I've just baked you a batch of Glazed blueberry, apple, cinnamon and custard muffins! they r really yum! (a couple r in a post pak, honest!) plus I'm sending you this perfect FNQ sunrise! What more could a Mother want on her Birthday?
This has been an incredible week of forward-ness in Yotland! The "Pergola" is now a permanent fixture/ rollcage on the bak dek. Super Strong! Like I mean "WOW, SUPER STRONG".Itz way better than I thort it'd B.
The Led lighting is now fitted and once again "WOW",as you can see the night thyme effect is impressive 2 say the very least.

The day-thyme is even betta! (Yes, Mum! these are deliberate grammatical errors). The shade and cooling effect of the roof is truely unbelievable, and incredibly practical. This will now allow me 2 begin lotz of smaller tasks , that would of previously been only possible under the cover of the "big shed".
The rear dek lighting is  not complete with "THE FISHING LIGHTZ" still yet 2B (I'm sure that's a pencil) added ! Underwater lightz, spotlights and also navig8ion lights still waiting 2B installed. The wiring and switchwork is already installed for this additional lighting. So far not even 3 amps (for those that understand electrickle stuff)!
Someone stole the water! or Sunami Alert! (Sue who?)
We took The Yot 4 a quick spin this morning, out 2 1 of my fishing spots (more on that later) Upon our safe return to the yard  we ran into a small snag " NO WATER" 2day is 1 of the lowest tides of the year. Itz not until you see these 2 fotoz that you realize just how low the water really is, the plank in the foreground is normally the one I walk up 2 get aboard, and in the middle right of the first foto you can see a triangle of steel sticking out of the mud. This is the anchor for the smaller of the 2 boat lifting cradles.
It took the dinghy plus 2 pieces of stategically placed plywood bitz, just 2 allow me to walk to the shore.Lotz of knee deep mud, No drama really just an unexpected surprise!
Kenny,Fonzie and I headed out first thing this morning (once the Yot floated)
The fishing wasn't very good, we had wind against tide conditions (the fishermen out there will understand this term) Kenny caught a small shark, while Fonz caught a very colorful stingray,Me- I caught F all!
So after a breakfast of toasted bacon and egg sandwiches we gave up the fishing and headed home.
We pulled up the WFT"S (sails) for an interesting trip back to the harbour, it  seems Wft no2 does way more than I first thought,it controls the trim of the Yot. Basically keeps the Yot going straight instead of it always turning into the wind.
The Yot handled the trip well except for a few minor hiccups / teething troubles.
The biggest of these being condensation (wkoa-really compact ones) in the port fuel tank, the port/left motor stopped as we were leaving the harbour just after dawn. This problem waz fixed shortly after returning .There were a few other issue's but nothing dramatic or life shattering. However it has elev8ed several "worklist" items to the top of my list of things 2 do.
(sorry  about the template layout issue's)
I'm still struggling with computer basics. On the computer front, the new helmet/ fishing/ underwater polecam- video camera arrived a few dayz ago, what an absolute ripper I can't wait 2B smart enuf to load a video clip I've edited onto this blog!
Aside from Yot improvement, I've also had a big win in the Electronics dept with the purchase of the last 2 Raymarine units for the main control consol. The new gps/plotter and echo sounder I've found will complete the electrical safety stuff. "should make driving around at night thyme much more safer-er! Finga's crossed.
On a slightly wierd note for those that follow this blog the "new bird" I met 8 months ago turns out to be a bloke! That sounds strange but "Peck" as I've come to know her,is actually a Male "ruffus night herron". Oh well I never was much good pickin my women! also for those true followers I had another fight with "Herbert" today. Miss Dee and Brad will know what I mean! Thanx heaps 4 your help this week Brad!
Thatz about all from Catland this week, I'll finish up now with a Birthday Muffin 4 Mum,and a picture of the end of today, with a near perfect "moon-rise".

Remember: "Life is seriously for Living!"

Ciao till next thyme!
