NEW YEAR NEWZ !!!

G'day All, Itz new year and a new lease of life for the Blog. I've neglected my updates for so long I only managed 6 new entries for the whole year.
SO UPDATE...
The yot iz safely moored at Two Rocks and while the rest of the world iz on break I'm knee deep in painting preparation (wkoa).
As the opening photo showz there's just a few crabz around! and good size 2 they make Qld and Nt blue crabz look tiny but you still can't beat a few mudcrabz.
Big Ash haz loaned me the "waterblaster from hell!" She strips paint faster than any other method and when you've got 45ft of deck area itz an amazing machine.
BUT thatz not the new year newz, the impossible haz happened!, and I've actually spoken to my Son Cameron, you must realize that I haven't spoken to him in 15 years and he waz only 4 when we last spoke. Cam surfaced about 4 months ago as a facebook contact to my m8 Kyron, since then he haz touched base a  few thymez with Mum.
As itz Christmas we reached out for a contact and Cam obliged with anutha visit to Mum'z.
During that visit both Cam and Mum rang me, I waz busy waterblasting so didn't hear the fone.
An hour later the waterblaster iz sitting idle and the seabreeze haz arrived.
And I'm still a little shell shocked. But a few Felixxers should rectify that.
Honey doesn't look 2 phased!
Where 2 go from here I honestly don't know but I'll give him as much room as possible. I have a million questions but can't vocalize any of them.
For now...
You all know how much I hate painting but the circumstances with life mean that itz thyme 2 re-paint the yot. This meanz hourz and hourz of prep. Sanding and blasting are the order of the day for the next week at least.
Itz 48 hours later and much more sanding dust, I had a visit from Sander Clause aka Dad with a brand new commercial sander for the job. Between Ashes waterblaster and Dadz sander the hull loox totally different and everything iz covered in a layer of paint chipz and sander dust.
I'm still shell shocked and don't know which way to turn, my long lost son iz alive and well and a very mature young man. He haz a love of areonautics and get this, deep sea fishing iz a passion. I foresee lotz of fishing tripz,
For now I'm just happy to make contact after so many years.
The one advantage to being offshore for new years was the squid, only landed 2 but heapz more came 2 play.
I still enjoy a night of squidding and the rewardz are very tastee...
